The Crusaders concluded a fun weekend away with a 2-1 record coming just shy of advancing to the finals.

The team had an early morning drive to get to their game Friday after a night of trick or treating. They held off the Bradford A team and entered the 3rd period down 3-1. The team lost energy in the 3rd and fell 7-1 to the Bulldogs. Alex had a great penalty shot save.

The team rebounded in the late afternoon with a 2hr delay in the game start due to a power outage. The boys came out strong and never let up winning 5-2 against the Hamburg Hawks A Team. Jake H played well in net and Jackson EH recorded the hat trick

This set up a must win game on Saturday afternoon. The Crusaders took a 2-1 lead into the start of the third. Newmarket AE pressed hard in our zone and rallied to get 4 goals in the 3rd to take a 5-3 win.

Syracuse beat Bradford 6-2 in the tournament final.

The boys had a fun time at the arena and the hotel and the moms had a good time shopping

The Peewee AE team bounced back in style Sunday night with an impressive 7-4 win over the Stirling Blues at the renovated Harman Park Arena.

The Crusaders started slow and the BLues took advantage of it, pressing us in our own end and registering the first goal. The Crusaders decided this was enough and took a 6-2 lead going into the intermission.

The team logged many firsts in this game – Christiaan W had a 4 point night with a hat trick from the defensive position; Sam K got his first goal and Lucas D hit the empty net from deep in our end with 0.1 sec left to seal the game.

Everyone on the team contributed. Get ready for a week of practices as we get ready to compete in Niagara Falls NY!

Crusaders never quit and will bounce back strong this weekend with a full roster on offense and defense.

After a great 3-0 start, the Crusaders made the long drive to Centre Hastings to be defeated 6-3. Four goals in the opening period by Centre Hastings was too much to overcome by the Crusaders.

The team plays Stirling this weekend before the big turkey dinners. Rest up and get the game faces on.

The Crusaders Peewee AE team beat Prince Edward County 7-2 in EOMHL season play Saturday night at Iroquois arena. Jake E opened the scoring in the first and Jackson EH (2 goals) added on in the second to take a 2-0 lead into the intermission.

The PEC Kings made it close in th 3rd pulling t 3-2, but a determined Crusader team added 4 more unanswered goals to take a 7-2 win.

Ayden B registered his forst goal of the season and Lucas D and Lewis G their first assists. Christiaan W and Lucas P (2 goals) were the other goal scorers

The defence played a solid 2 way game. The line of Duncan M, Sammy K and Jayden H has several chances on the night but the PEC goalie was stong early.

Alex O got his 2nd win while sporting a nice shinner from a volleyball accident. He kind of looks like “Petey”. Fitting as our team is pulling together like the Little Rascals
