The Crusaders had a rare road game Saturday in Port Hope. The team came out slow in the first period and the Port Hope team kept them from scoring. The Phantoms scored the first goal in the 2nd period to take the lead. This was the wake-up call the team needed.

The team started to hit the back of the next scoring 5 goals in the 2nd and took a 5-2 lead into the intermission. They came out in the third scoring 2 more goals for a 7-2 win.

Port Hope was frustrated in the 3rd and tried what they could to stop Christiaan from taking a slap-shot including throwing their sticks.

The team is practicing this week getting ready for the Silve Stick Regional tournament in Haliburton this upcoming weekend.

Good Luck Crusaders!
